🌟 National Foster Care Month: A Call to Action 🌟

May is National Foster Care Month—a time to honor the resilience of children and youth in foster care and the dedicated individuals who support them. With nearly 370,000 children in the U.S. foster care system, there’s an urgent need for loving homes and community involvement.

From Foster Care to Forever Home: Our Journey of Love (The English Family)

We never imagined the road God would lead us down when He placed foster care on our hearts. It began with a quiet nudge—one we couldn’t ignore. With trembling hands and trusting hearts, we said “yes” to the unknown, simply because God asked us to.
Foster care stretched us, challenged us, and refined us. It wasn’t easy—but God never promised ease. He promised purpose. Through every court date, tearful goodbye, and sleepless night, He was writing a bigger story—one of redemption, healing, and love.
We share this not to point to us, but to point to HIM. God’s plans are always good, even when they’re hard. If He’s calling you to something that feels bigger than you—say yes. He’ll meet you there.
“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—this is God, whose dwelling is holy.” Psalm 147:3 & Psalm 68:5 (NLT)
